Checkbox

The checkboxes are only displayed during the edit mode. There is a distinction between row-related checkboxes and the checkbox at the column header level. When the table content is initially opened, all checkboxes are empty or deactivated. A checkbox is activated by selecting it with the primary mouse button.

In the row-related usage, an activated checkbox is marked with a checkmark. Multiple checkboxes can be selected simultaneously. By activating the checkboxes, the corresponding rows are marked, so that functions such as "Copy" or "Delete" can be executed.

To mark all rows in the table, this can be done via the checkbox in the column header area. This checkbox can show the following information:

  • Empty checkbox: No rows are selected.
  • Line in the checkbox: Some rows in the variant table are selected. This state is automatically set by the system.
  • Checkmark in the checkbox: All rows of the variant table are selected.

By selecting the checkbox at the column header level with the primary mouse button, you can toggle the selection state (i.e., mark or unmark all rows) from any of the previous states (including partial row selection).
