Global settings for the app

The app is browser-based and organizes the user interface clearly into tabs. The start page is always displayed as the first tab. It serves for selecting variant tables. Each time a variant table is opened, a new tab appears to the right of the start page. In this tab, the content of the respective variant table is provided in either display or edit mode. This structure ensures a clear separation of functions and facilitates navigation between different areas of the app.

In the header on the right, the app allows you to adjust the following settings using icons:

Icon	Description
trash can	Clear CACHE; users can clear their personal cache for the app.
Light bulb	Switch theme; changing the theme adjusts the color scheme of the user interface. Users can choose between a light theme and a dark theme.
Globe	Change language; users can switch the application-specific fields between DE and EN.
Star	No function
Person	Clicking opens a context menu that controls the display of SAP objects in terms of technical or descriptive representation.
Gear wheel	No function

When hovering over an icon, a tooltip (APPtip) appears, describing the function of the icon. The APPtip is displayed for a few seconds and disappears automatically once the mouse is moved or after the display time expires.
