SnapPoints

SnapPoints allow adding points to a Product where other products can be docked.

Creating a SnapPoint​

By clicking the “Create” button in the CRUD component, a new SnapPoint can be created.
Existing SnapPoints can be edited or viewed via the “inline icons”.

Fields​

  • Code (mandatory)
    → Technical name of the SnapPoint.
    Can be freely chosen, must follow naming conventions, and must be unique within SnapPoints.

  • Categories (mandatory)
    → One or more SnapPointCategories must be assigned to the SnapPoint, defining which categories can be placed at this SnapPoint.
    Example: "GB_Pasta"

  • Descriptions (optional)
    → Multilingual description of the SnapPoint

    • de_de = Fang Punkt 01
    • en_en = Snap Point 01
    • …

SnapPoint-Information Tab (Create)​

When creating a new SnapPoint:

  • Code is required.
  • Assign one or more Categories.
  • Description can be maintained in multiple languages.

Actions:

  • Save → Create new SnapPoint
  • Save → Save changes

SnapPoint-Information Tab (Edit-/View-Mode)​

In Edit-/View-Mode:

  • The basic information of the SnapPoint can be viewed or modified.
  • Save
