SnapPointCategories

SnapPoint categories provide a way to assign SnapPoints to different categories and ensure that they are only active for specific products.


Creating SnapPointCategories

By clicking the “Create” button in the CRUD component, a new SnapPointCategory can be created.
Existing SnapPointCategories can be edited or viewed via the “inline icons”.

Fields

  • Code (mandatory)
    → Technical name of the SnapPointCategory.
    Can be freely chosen, must follow naming conventions, and must be unique within SnapPointCategories.

  • ProductCategory (mandatory)
    → A ProductCategory must be assigned to the SnapPointCategory, which it should react to.
    Example: "GB_Pasta"

  • Priority (optional)
    → Defines whether this SnapPointCategory should be prioritized when "snapping".

  • Descriptions (optional)
    → Multilingual description of the SnapPointCategory

    • de_de = Basis Szene
    • en_en = Base Scene

SnapPointCategories-Information Tab (Create)

When creating a new SnapPointCategory:

  • Code is required.
  • Assign ProductCategory.
  • Set Priority (optional).
  • Description can be maintained in multiple languages.

Actions:

  • Save → Create new SnapPointCategory
  • Save → Save changes

In Edit-/View-Mode:

  • The basic information of the SnapPointCategory can be viewed or modified.
  • Save
